Christiane is a South African artist and studied textile design and fine art.
She has been portrait and photographic painting/sketching since 1975.
Using a traditional style, she produces outstanding sketches and painting, capturing the very essence of her subject. Her portraiture is often based on photographs or parts of photographs, sometimes combining aspects from different photographs. Her textile background allows her to incorporate a specific style to suit the client's room.
The paintings are in acrylic and mixed media on canvas and the sketches are graphite on paper.
